It was surreal, possibly one of the most stunning places I've been. Words cannot describe how gorgeous this place was. Today was Independence day on the island, so we had a day off from our classes. A group of us decided to go to the La Luna resort for lunch and their beach. This resort was just breath-taking. Apparentely it has been featured in a number of travel magazines, and Sports Illustrated or Victoria's Secret has shot swimsuit spreads at this place. What a decadent day we had. Blue skies, warm water, white sand, and the hot sun melding into a light breeze - the day was perfect. I was not able to take pictures of the resort to justify the magnitude of its divinity, but here is a nice beach shot to make you want to throw your shovels down and jump on the fastest plane to come visit.
