All over the place

Woo hoo, two more exams to go! 15 days, and I’ll be finished second term – now don’t get too excited because I still have 6 more weeks here for a short 3rd term. Other exciting news – I’m going to Europe! I leave June 29th (I get home from Grenada June 26th) to Serbia for 10 days, and then Raz is joining me in Frankfurt and then we go to Paris and Spain (either Barcelona or Madrid – we have to decide soon). So exciting!
So, because of my minimal time between coming home and leaving again I needed to find somewhere to obtain a few wardrobe pieces for my trip. The downfall of being a perpetual student is that I own two outfit types – jeans and a t-shirt or scrubs, so needless to say, I needed some nice duds. Enter ebay, yep, that’s right, ebay. Whoa, what a rush bidding is – you may be thinking “uh oh she’s going get addicted to bidding" or something like that – but that’s where your misunderstanding ends. Ask any woman who finds a great deal on something good at a store. It’s a rush from knowing that I got a great deal, but with strategery (what? Bush thought it was a word too). It was a nice break this weekend to think about the best plan of attack for winning the items. Do I wait and watch contentedly or do I snipe at the last second? Let’s just say, I’m just about ready for Europe, and I haven’t even spent 100 USD (and many of my items are well-made quality brands – I feel so cool).
Totally another topic, but I’ve been putting avocado on my face, because I couldn’t eat it fast enough, and wow, it totally makes your skin glow. Okay, sorry for my schizoid blog today, but I have to go to class.
