Sunday we went on a class sailing trip. Our excursion began with a quick flight to Union Island where we boarded the Captain Yannis catamaran.

We first visited the Grenadine island of Mayreau for a refreshing swim and some much needed sun after a previous weekend of intense studying. The water was absolutely gorgeous, and the most beautiful shades of turquoise and aquamarine.
Breakfast, lunch, and drinks (all day) were served on the boat. I have to admit, this was the best rum punch I've had during my time in the Caribbean.
Our next stop was at a Tobago Cays island, which allowed for some snorkeling, and water fun. If I were to describe a desert island, it would have definitely looked like this one. Other than the guy selling T-shirts and sarongs, I don't think it was inhabited by anyone else.

Our last stop was on Palm Island, which appeared to have a nice resort. Of course we stopped in for a decadant frozen drink, for some much needed refuge from the day full of sun.
We sailed home just before the sunset......it's good to be a med student in the Caribbean.
